Latest Updates from Our Project:

Ogrezine and Scenario Collections, Early Pricing Closed
over 4 years ago – Sun, Aug 18, 2019 at 12:20:19 AM

As stated during the funding period of campaign, the assembled print-on-demand books were offered at a reduced price to backers for the first few months. We have now adjusted the prices to their final MSRP. Both books (all four, if we count B&W and color variants!) are available today at Amazon:

Ogrezine in Print!
almost 5 years ago – Tue, Jun 18, 2019 at 06:22:20 PM

The team has released the Ogrezine collection in print -- in color and in B&W -- which marks the official close of this campaign. We've now completed all of the campaign stretch goals, making this project one that was only slightly delayed. We hate to be late, but we very much appreciate your patience and support.

We'll be back with a new update in the future when we're ready to go with a third Ogrezine campaign. For the latest info on all of the Steve Jackson Games projects, please like us on Facebook and keep a close eye on our blog, the Daily Illuminator!

If you have any questions, please let us know and we'll answer as best we can.

Printed Scenario Book and Ogrezine Collection Update
almost 5 years ago – Tue, Jun 11, 2019 at 11:21:37 PM

We're late on these two titles. There's no easy way to say that, so the blunt statement is: We are late on these two titles. This is purely my failure and I can only apologize to all of you and give you the latest report on the status of both of these stretch goal titles.

Ogre Scenario Book

We have seen physical proofs for both a B&W and a color version of the book, and we're close to opening up the print-on-demand collection of the three volumes for all of you who wish to order a printed book. We are still weeks from being ready, but I can assure you that the project is moving forward. Why B&W and color? So that you can choose what best fits your budget and personal taste.

Ogrezine Collection

Again, this will be offered in both B&W and in color so that you can choose what works best for you. The book is on the same schedule as the scenario book; we will post a project update with links to the pages at Amazon.com just as soon as the books are through the proofing process and available for sale. And please remember that the prices will be set low for the first few months (see this update).

Thank you for your patience as well as your forgiveness. I am sorry that we're behind on both of these titles; the team is doing all they can to finalize both titles (four books!) and I will personally spend more time on future Kickstarter projects checking the status of promised stretch goals.

And into the wild it goes!
about 5 years ago – Wed, Apr 24, 2019 at 08:08:30 PM

At long last, we are releasing the Ogrezine II PDF to all backers. You should be receiving notification in the near future. Those of you at FnordCon were able to see some production copies we had at the event (and a few lucky souls even got to buy one!) Now, everyone can see the work put forth by our fellow fans in its entirety. I've said it before, but it is worth saying again: I am so impressed with the many submissions for Ogrezine. You are the greatest fans ever!

We are wrapping up many of the Ogre related Kickstarters, both recent and old. As many of you are aware, the Pocket Box Games preorder window is still open, and we have a special bundle of Ogre games available for all interested. It includes the games Ogre, G.E.V., Shockwave, Ogre Reinforcement Pack, and Battlesuit; two empty Pocket Boxes (and stickers for them are included in all but G.E.V.); and four Ogre-themed pocket folders. This is a great way to get the classic versions of these games all spiffy and new.

Still have your beloved games from decades past, but like the new gaming supplies? The Ogre-themed pocket folders and pocket journals are available as well, either individually or as part of a bundle for each item. There are 12 different designs in each bundle, both of which include four Ogre-verse covers. Speaking of bundles, the Space Gamer Ogre bundle is also available encompassing all issues with Ogre material.

You can obviously stock up on any and all of the other great Pocket Box Games from decades past, too. Don't forget Necromancer, so you can play the "secret Ogre scenario"! Additionally, you can add any of the various Ogre Playmats to your order, including the new M6 and M7 mats. Plus, you can now choose how you wish to receive your mat: rolled or folded. Folded will save you a few bucks on shipping, although to quote Phil, "only a monster would fold a playmat." Just sayin'! The choice is yours.

Don't need anything from the Pocket Box Kickstarter but still want the Ogre Playmats M6 and M7? They have been released on Warehouse 23 as well. And we juuuust might be able to squeeze out a few more copies of Ogre Miniatures, Second Edition, for those that missed out on it. Check it out before they are gone.

We hope to have more announcements in the near future about additional Ogre projects, but in the meantime, enjoy Ogrezine II!
