More Ogrezine Articles

Happy New Year, everyone!

Today we posted the latest article for Ogrezine II, titled "Refugees" by Paul Teti. It is an unusual take on Ogre in that it embeds a scenario within another scenario. This is a concept that I have been playing around with myself, and you may see more ideas like this. Many thanks to Paul for the interesting scenario!

As 2018 wound down to a close, we slipped an article onto the site that I failed to announce here. My apologies! "A Fire in the Distance" is a wonderful piece of fiction by John-David Karnitz. He explores the concept of what it means to be a comrade in arms, as well as sacrifice, in his haunting tale. Expect to see more from this author!

We are well on our way to completing the issue. Our next article is scheduled for release on January 25. Stay tuned!

Shipping Update

Packing on 12/27

As you might have read from a comment posted by Phil, a small team consisting of James, Philip, and myself were in the Warehouse packing as many orders as we could during our holiday time-off. We spent some of the morning addressing internet issues, but we were determined to continue packing orders and worked throughout the rest of the day.

Here are a few shots of us at work:

James and Philip are both in the office today, and have resumed packing Ogrezine 2 orders, as well as Warehouse23 orders submitted over the holiday break. Our intent is to pack all of the orders and process them for shipping at the same time, allowing our carrier to come and collect the packages in bulk. We do not have an ETA, but we haven't forgotten, and we hope to have this wrapped up soon.

Thank you again for your patience.

Our Sixth Article Has A Magnetic Attraction
over 7 years ago – Fri, Dec 14, 2018 at 09:52:50 PM

We have posted the sixth article for Ogrezine II on our website. "Infantry Magnets," by Cat Reddington-Wilde, details a way of modifying your copious Infantry miniatures to facilitate moving them into and out of GEV-PCs, as well as "making change" when under attack. This article can help you take your minis to "the next level"!

Over on our Battlefields Kickstarter campaign, we have broken through the $80,000 stretch goal. If you haven't checked it out, you owe it to yourself to do so. Battlefields is getting stuffed with all sorts of extra goodies. Pink Ogres for the win, baby!

There are five more days of the Warehouse 23 Haul-idays Sale. Titles are discounted up to 75% off, including a large number of Ogre items at 23% off. Plus, knowing that you all are Munchkins yourselves, we will give you loot for your purchases. The more you buy, the more you get. Pretty easy, huh?

The Fifth Article is Live
over 7 years ago – Fri, Dec 07, 2018 at 01:07:03 AM

We have posted the fifth article for Ogrezine II on our website. Roland Boshnack brings us The Daimyo and the Dragon, an interesting take on the classic Mark III Defending scenario. His approach to manned cybertanks is a unique perspective on the idea.

In addition to his scenario, we have some artwork submitted by Robert Goodwin to grace the page. Modeled after WWII recruiting posters, Rob gives us one for the Nihon Empire, extolling the virtues of their naval supremacy. Expect to see more recruiting posters from Rob as we progress through the issue!

Quick Hits

  • Our current Battlefields campaign has blown through the first five stretch goals and closing in on some big ones. Check it out!
  • The Ogre Video Game is on sale for 50% off on Steam through December 11.
  • The Haul-idays sale on W23 includes lots of Ogre products at 23% off through December 19. Plus, we will give you free loot!

Shipping Update and Ogre Battlefields Now on Kickstarter!
over 7 years ago – Thu, Dec 06, 2018 at 01:32:29 AM

First up, the important news on all physical rewards for the Ogrezine 2 project: At the moment, we're expecting to see the playmats by Friday, which puts the warehouse team starting delivery next week. Many of the rewards are shipping from our Austin warehouse, and not our Michigan fulfillment partner, so we'll be a little slower with shipping these (we have a smaller warehouse team). More news when the packages start leaving the warehouse.

Ogre Battlefields

At long last, we're happy to announce that the Ogre Battlefields project has launched on Kickstarter. This box includes the G-3 and S-3 maps that were not a part of the Ogre Designer's Edition, as well as counters and a complete Ogre rulebook. Additionally, Ogre Playmat M4 is being offered as part of the project; please check it out today!

A Warehouse Find

One last bit of information that some of you may find interesting: We found copies of the Ogre Designer's Edition in our warehouse and have posted them for sale at Warehouse 23. Grab one if you need one!

Thanks!
